The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Safari Chronograph 26470ST.OO.A801C features a 42mm stainless steel case surrounding a Cadran Ivoire Mega Tapisserie dial on a black Hornback alligator strap with a stainless steel tang buckle. Functions include hours, minutes, small-seconds, date and chronograph.
Often described as the "Safari 2," this model is part of the 2014 redesign of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore 42mm collection. It includes 100-meter water resistance thanks to a ceramic-shouldered screw down crown.
The dial is an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Mega Tapisserie with a "Safari" color scheme and tone-on-tone chronograph registers.
On the opposite side of the watch, a sapphire display caseback allows watch buyers to view the Audemars Piguet in-house caliber 3126 base with 3840 Dubois Depraz vertical clutch chronograph module. The base caliber is an automatic movement with a power reserve of 50-55 hours. It includes stop seconds (hacking) and a quick-set date.
