The Omega Tourbillon (De Ville Central Tourbillon) 5933.30.32 is the flagship of the Omega watch brand and the world's first central tourbillon wristwatch. Designed for the company's 1994 anniversary by Omega watchmaker Maurice Grimm, the Omega Central Tourbillon was upgraded in 2002 to include COSC Swiss chronometer certification. Omega's caliber 2600B tourbillon movement is automatic winding and features a platinum winding mass. The central tourbillon carriage is hand finished, boasts a Breguet overcoil hairspring, and acts as a seconds hand for the watch; two superimposed sapphire discs bear the image of the hour and minute hands while being driven by a hidden set of pinions underneath the bezel. The Omega DeVille Tourbillon can be wound with the crown at three o'clock, but it must be set by means of the retractable setting crown on the caseback. The Omega caliber 2600B is wound by a platinum winding mass, features a power reserve of 45 hours when fully wound, and beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour. The case of the Omega Central Tourbillon is sculpted to resemble the celebrated vintage Omega 2637 from the 1950s. The Omega Tourbillon 5933.30.32 is encased in red gold surrounding a silver dial on a black leather strap. Functions include hours, minutes, seconds, and tourbillon. The watch also measures 38.7mm in diameter, 13.2mm in thickness, and 49mm from lug-to-lug.
