This comparison pits the newe-for-2020 41mm Rolex Submariner against the redesigned 43.5mm Oris Aquis Date. Now equipped with a three-day power reserve, the iconic Rolex dive watch pairs slightly increased size with a more gracefully tapered lug profile. The unidirectional Rolex dive bezel with Cerachrom ceramic insert and the Glidelock diving clasp adjustment continue from previous Submariner models.
Oris' new Aquis Calibre 400 (400 7763 4135MB) adds almost too many new features to count, but the headliner is the new manufacture caliber 400 with a five-day power reserve and a ten-year warranty. Additional features of this Oris dive watch are a diving extension in the clasp, a display caseback, and a new quick-release system for its bracelet and straps.
The Rolex Submariner Date 126610LN is encased in 41mm of stainless steel surrounding a black dial on a stainless steel Oyster bracelet. Features of this Rolex Submariner Date include hours, minutes, seconds and date. This Rolex watch also measures 12.8mm in thickness and 48.1mm from lug-to-lug.
