A. Lange & Sohne 2021 new releases hit the big screen as Mike Manjos and Alp Sever, creator of Langepedia, showcase their immense excitement and knowledge to our global audience of watch collectors. Founded in 2016, Langepedia is the preeminent resource for the study and appreciation of A. Lange & Söhne, the brand’s artistic and technical masterpieces, and the renaissance of German watchmaking. Langepedia has captured the attention of enthusiasts and collectors worldwide. This conversation between Mike Manjos and Langepedia unites encyclopedic knowledge, in-depth insights, and unrivaled enthusiasm.
For the new Lange releases, Manjos and Langepedia cover viewpoints from the sophisticated to the downright stunned. Whether A. Lange & Sohne is part of your collection, or you appreciate its sheer beauty, this is a special opportunity to hear it first-hand from two of the best in the business.
Of course, this year’s Watches and Wonders show in Geneva is a digital event. The watchesandwonders.com platform has done an excellent job showcasing A. Lange & Söhne's new timepieces, such as the LANGE 1 PERPETUAL CALENDAR, the LITTLE LANGE 1 MOON PHASE, and the TRIPLE SPLIT – each piece remarkable in its own right.
The integration of the individual calendar factors prominently into the incomparable face of the LANGE 1. The watch is entirely focused on its renowned complication and the iconic outsize date, and a moon-phase display indicating day or night. The new model (41.9 millimetres) is available in pink gold with grey or a more rare (limited edition 150 watches) white gold with a solid pink-gold dial.
For the next, it is as if tiny stars twinkle on the dark blue gold-flux dial of the white-gold LITTLE LANGE 1 MOON PHASE. Beneath the signature outsize date, the moon phase is calculated to remain accurate for 122.6 years!
Last but not least, the TRIPLE SPLIT is indeed one-of-a-kind. According to A. Lange & Sohne it is the “only split-seconds chronograph in the world that can measure additive and comparative times for as long as twelve hours!” This second version in a 100-watch limited edition comes in pink gold with a blue dial.
Over the course of the conversation, Manjos and Lagepedia deep-dive into these new and wonderous models from A. Lange & Sohne and the indelible mark the company has left on this year’s Watches & Wonders event.
