Breitling watches are back with a vengeance for 2024. The legendary Navitimer pilot's chronograph, SuperOcean dive watch, and Premier all around men's watches are new for 2024. The Breitling Navitimer chronograph is the icon of the entire Breitling brand. Launched in 1952 and billed as a pilot's watch with a "flight calculator," the Navitimer is the longest running Breitling watch model. It's often said that the Navitimer is to Breitling what the Submariner is to Rolex and the Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch is to Omega. While major new Navitimer models are yet to launch in 2024, Tim reviews his favorite Navitimer chronographs from recent years in anticipation of major new arrivals around Watches & Wonders 2024.

Breitling SuperOcean was born in 1957, and it has been Breitling's core dive watch ever since. Long a rival to the Omega Speedmaster and Rolex Submariner, the 2024 SuperOcean Heritage 57 receives a stunning new capsule collection called the "Highlands" series. The incredible "mustard" dial is Tim's favorite by far, and this retro inspired diving watch deftly mixes modern and vintage design. From its explosively colorful dial to the silk and wool "tweed" custom strap, this limited production 2024 Breitling SuperOcean Heritage 57 is persuasive evidence of the Breitling brand comeback.

The 2024 Breitling Top Time B21 Classic Cars Chronograph Tourbillon proves that Breitling is willing to play in a market where Rolex dares not. Three special editions celebrate classic American cars including the Shelby Cobra, Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, and Ford Mustang. The Mustang features a vibrant green dial with a 43mm bright bronze case. Both the blue dial Shelby Cobra and burl wood dial Chevrolet Corvette models employ a 44mm black ceramic case. All three models use the automatic Breitling caliber B21 tourbillon chronograph created for this series by Breitling and La Joux Perret.

In addition to the 2024 Breitling watches, this episode makes an assessment of the Breitling comeback and how well CEO Georges Kern's turnaround plans have worked since he joined the watchmaker in 2017.
