Hautlence arrives at Watches & Wonders 2026 with two distinct novelties — an evolution of its signature Sphere and a bold new collection that marks a new chapter for the independent brand. Tim Mosso goes hands-on.
The Sphere Series 4 pushes Hautlence's most iconic display further. The 37mm x 45mm Grade 5 titanium case houses a fully skeletonized dial anchored by a sand-colored sphere at 9 o'clock that rotates on three axes — driven by four bevel gears across two crossed axes inclined at 21 degrees — to display the jumping hour. A retrograde minute hand sweeps a 180-degree arc before snapping back at the top of the hour. Powered by the in-house hand-wound Caliber A82 at 72 hours of power reserve. Olive green and sand palette, limited to 28 pieces, priced at CHF 74,600.
The Kubera Series 1 is an entirely new direction for the brand — named after the Hindu god of wealth and underground treasures, and built around a Cubist-inspired architecture unlike anything Hautlence has done before. The 36mm x 43.8mm stainless steel case extends into a cascading integrated bracelet with progressively smaller links. The olive green lacquer dial tells time without hands: jumping hours appear through an octagonal aperture at 12 o'clock, while a turquoise peripheral minutes cursor glides silently around the dial's outer edge on a hidden track. Powered by a La Joux-Perret automatic movement with an Agenhor jumping hours and peripheral minutes module, 70-hour power reserve, 244 components. Priced at CHF 35,600.
