Which Watch Brand Makes the Best Watch Bracelets?

Tim Mosso explores the part of the luxury watch that most leave out: the bracelet. Rolex is famous for bracelet watches, but the range of Swiss watchmaking reaches far beyond its most famous brand. From Grand Seiko to Jaeger-LeCoultre, tonight's show features the best bracelets for sale right now on luxury watches.
The Vacheron Constantin Overseas collection is the real winner tonight. As the best all-around bracelet, the Overseas (third generation) offers fine finish, many degrees of adjustment, and substantial feel in the hand. The clasp of every Overseas includes two micro adjustments for fine-tuning the wrist fit. A quick-release system allows easy removal of the bracelet to facilitate swapping onto the included accessory straps.
Every link of the Vacheron Overseas Generation III bracelet can be removed for precise sizing to the owner's wrist. Intermediate sized links in the bracelet allow another degree of adjustment. And in a fashion worth of a Swiss holy trinity sports watch, the decoration of the Overseas bracelet is outstanding in scope and detail.
Jaeger-LeCoultre isn't known for historically great bracelets primarily because its signature Reverso watch usually comes on a strap. But the 2025 JLC Reverso Or Deco is a rose gold supernova enhanced by its matched rose gold Milanese mesh bracelet. While the retail price is an ambitious $41,300, the Reverso Or Decor is a bold flagship watch and an homage to the art deco era that spawned its design. Technically, this watch is called the "Reverso Tribute Monoface 'Or Deco," but everyone will call it the "Or Deco." In addition to the 1930s callback, this Reverso embodies an oblique reference to the 1992-2003 Reverso Art Deco, a well regarded skeletonized model made in small volumes.
Finally, Grand Seiko's SBGA229 and SBGA231 Spring Drive divers feature highly technical and secure diving clasps. Although their bracelet quality is not up to Rolex or Omega quality standards, these Japanese dive watch bracelets include brutally effective measures against accidental deployment and loss over water. A double-locking clasp mechanism combines with a sizing adjustment that allows changes with the watch securely on the wrist. All three of these measures mitigate the danger of dropping the watch over water too deep to permit retrieval.
