Patek Phillippe and Tudor took the watch world by surprise and by storm with fantastic new releases, and on this week’s Market Wrap, Mike Manjos is here to discuss it all. He is joined by our special guest, Luca Bozzano, from Watchbox Middle East to share insights from that part of the world. But first he shows off the best watches that arrived this week. The pieces on the table include the Patek Philippe Gondolo 8 Day in blue, a Rolex Daytona Cosmograph with racing dial in white gold, and a stunning ladies’ Cartier Ballon Bleu. Like any of these? As mentioned, this week’s main story comes from Tudor and Patek Philippe, respectively, as they both released new watches just a little over a month after Watches & Wonders. The surprise drop was welcome news to Manjos who admires both companies and their subsequent launches. The Patek releases include the 5968 Aquanaut in white gold with both green and blue dials and the 5269 ladies piece with a black and white dial in a slightly bigger case. The true standout, though, is from Tudor who released a Black Bay Ceramic that really sets a new bar for the brand.
Finally, Manjos is joined by Luca Bozzano, General Manager of Watchbox Middle East, to discuss the new releases and market from his purview. The conversation spans several topics from H. Moser & Cie to the upcoming Dubai Watch Week.
