The main story of the day is a recent announcement by Grönefeld on Instagram. They posted to declare they’re no longer taking orders as they are sold out of all their current productions. This was great news for the company who encouraged their fans to look at other independent brands in the meantime. Mike comments on what this means for the increasing success of independents and how it’s something to be excited about.
Finally, Mike hosts another segment of The Pulse – this time with our friend, Leo, in China. Leo discusses some of the most popular brands there such as Longines, Omega, and Blancpain. He also explains how the prominence of social media has caused a spike in interest for watches all over the country in recent years.
