Tim Mosso designed a watch with Armand Billard of Sartory Billard, and tonight's episode is the grand reveal of the new model. At 40mm in stainless steel, the Sartory Billard SB04 TTWTM is a limited edition of 25 pieces created specifically for the Talking Time With Tim Mosso Facebook group.

Following a successful 2022 collaboration with New York City watchmaker Dan Royter, Tim was approached by France's Armand Billard, a member of TTWTM, about creating a "season two" watch for members of the Facebook group. A series of concept revisions and a focus on vivid colors led to a dial that combines rose gold and metallic purple. At Armand's suggestion, grey, red, brown, and British racing green dials were added to the option list.

The basic dial design common to all models starts with a vintage inspired crosshair center. A granular texture overlaps the crosshair at dial center. Hours, minutes, and seconds are traced by skeleton alpha hands. And the tracks for hours, minutes, and seconds are cut from solid rose gold. Breguet Arabic numerals were chosen for their classical beauty. Beneath the hours, the dial texture changes to circular satin brushed metal.

The 40mm Sartory Billard SB04 by Tim Mosso includes a dial by Kari Voutilainen's Comblemine Cadran, a case by DM Projects, an automatic 64-hour G100 caliber from La Joux Perret, and alpha hands plus hour scale by Armand Billard in rose gold. Its retail price is 3,800 Euros. All watches will be delivered with warranty card, silk sleeve, and a custom wooden box by Lature.

While Tim designed the watch, he has no stake in the sale of the model or financial interest in Sartory Billard. The venture was purely a matter of passion and shared values with Armand.
