The Biggest Releases (0:27)
Rolex, Patek, Lange, Tudor, Panerai and others have rolled out their big releases and Mike is giving his expert take on the most noteworthy so far.
A. Lange & Sohne Models (2:35)
We saw three new awesome Lange models, including the Lange 1 Perpetual Calendar which is an entirely new watch. This piece is in the Lange 1 style, available in 41.9mm and two great colors including a rose gold watch with a gray dial, and a limited edition a white gold pink dial. The second piece they released is a Little Lange 1 Moon Phase that comes with a solid silver dial with dark blue-gold flugs and little stars. Lastly, the Triple Split introduction is rose gold, has a beautiful blue dial, and is limited to 100 pieces.
Vacheron Constantin Models (4:05)
The Overseas Perpetual Ultra Thin and the Ultra Thin Skeleton are both available in steel and are great extensions of their collection—not to mention, the blue dials are captivating. Overseas of all generations have been on the rise for years, and these will only help bring it more attention.
IWC Models (5:04)
The Big Pilot may be hard to wear due to its size, but the new 40mm introduction available in black and blue dials and with both straps and bracelets are absolutely gorgeous pieces. IWC also came out with a new Perpetual Calendar piece under $30,000 which will likely be highly-sought after.
Tudor Models (6:14)
Rising in popularity over the last few years, this brand came out with a new Black Bay Chronograph available in both silver and black dials, as well as on straps and bracelets. However, the two surprises from Tudor were the first Black Bay 58 in 18ct gold and the Black Bay 58 in 925 Sterling Silver.
Panerai Models (7:15)
The ESteel™ lineup boasts recycled steel materials that may attract some collectors, and the models are available in unique colors like blue, green, and grey. The new Bronzo Blu PAM01074 is also impressive with a 42mm size.
Patek Philippe Models (8:00)
This brand was one to look out for this year—they introduced a 5711/1A-014 with a new sunburst green metallic pattern, a gem-set 5711/1300A-001, and a rose gold Nautilus Travel Time Chronograph 5990/1R-001. These collector-worthy pieces will definitely be a standout in the show.
Rolex Models (9:05)
The Rolex releases this year were probably not what people were expecting, but impressive nonetheless. The updated Rolex Explorer II features a new movement and will be a good piece for some enthusiasts, but by no means a groundbreaking introduction. However, some cool dials were released like the palm dials on the Datejust, and the meteorite dials on existing Daytonas available in rose gold, white gold, and rose gold.
